Amphitheatre shows six nights a week and live music six days a week, which is a fuller programme than most hotels of this size attempt. Once a week there is a party night with live music, laser shows, fountain displays and the whole venue dressed for it, and once a week a DJ plays a sunset set. After all of that, the disco bar opens at eleven.
THE AMPHITHEATRE
Six nights a week, in a proper amphitheatre rather than a stage at the end of a terrace. The Bonsai terrace looks straight down into it, which is the best place to watch from if you would rather be sitting with a drink than in a row of seats.
THE PARTY NIGHT
Once a week, with live music, laser shows, fountain displays and themed decoration. It is the night the week is arranged around, and the one worth knowing the date of on the day you arrive.
THE SUNSET SET
A DJ once a week at the hour the light goes. It is the quietest loud thing on the programme, and it happens while most people are still deciding where to have dinner.
KARAOKE AND FOAM
Karaoke once a week, a foam party once a week, and a separate foam party for children on its own day. Three fixed points on the calendar, each announced in advance so that the people who want them and the people who do not can both plan around them.
LATE
Gazania opens at eleven and runs until two. The Orio lounge never closes at all, and the night buffet at Palm runs from midnight until two in the morning. An evening here does not have to end at a particular hour.
